COCONUT OAT COOKIES
Sift together and set aside flour, soda, baking powder and salt. Blend together both sugars and shortening. Add eggs and vanilla and beat smooth. Gradually add flour mixture and mix until smooth. By hand, add oats, coconut and nuts.

Refrigerats one hour. Roll into 1" balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 300° for 15 minutes.
