DEEP DISH BROWNIES

  • 3/4 cup Butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 3 Eggs
  • 3/4 cup Flour
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°. Grease an 8 inch square baking pan.

    2. In a medium bowl blend butter, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs; using spoon, beat well.

    3. Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture, beating until well blended. Spread into prepared pan.

    4. Bake 40-45 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely; cut into squares.

    Makes 16 brownies
