WESTERN-STYLE BEEF 'N' BEANS

  • 3 pounds Ground beef
  • 2 medium Onions, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Beef Bouillon Granules
  • 2/3 cup Boiling Water
  • 2 (28oz ea) cans Baked Beans w/Molasses
  • 1 1/2 cups Ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Yellow mustard
  • 3 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/2 pound Bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1. Preheat oven to 375°.

    2. In a pot over medium heat, cook beef and onions until meat is no longer pink and onions are tender; drain. Dissolve bouillon in water; stir into beef mixture. Add the beans, ketchup, mustard, garlic, salt and pepper; mix well.

    3. Transfer to a large baking dish. Cover and bake at 375° for 60-70 minutes or until bubbly; stir. Top with bacon. Makes 12 servings.
