Rice Dishes

PARMESAN BUTTERED RICE

  • 3 cups Water
  • 1 1/2 cups Rice, uncooked
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley, minced
  • 1. In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil; stir in rice. Reduce heat to low; cover and cook for 20 minutes or until tender.

    2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter until browned.

    3. Place rice in a serving dish and sprinkle with Parmesan. Pour butter over rice; cover and let stand 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley. Makes 6-8 servings
