HONEY CORN BREAD

  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 cup Yellow Corn Meal
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup Whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • Butter
  • 1. Preheat oven to 400°. Grease an 8 or 9 inch square baking pan.

    2.In a bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt. In a small mixing bowl, beat the eggs. Add cream, oil and honey; beat well. Stir into the dry ingredients just until moistened. Pour into prepared pan.

    3. Bake at 400° for 20-25 minutes or until a cake tester inserted in the center comes out clean. Spread butter on top. Slice and serve warm or cold. Makes 9 servings
