CHOCOLATE SANDWICH COOKIES

  • 2 packages Devil's Food cake Mix
  • 4 Eggs, beaten
  • 2/3 cup Vegetable oil
  • Cream Cheese Frosting
  • Food Coloring, optional
  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°.

    2. In a mixing bowl, beat cake mixes, eggs and oil (batter will be very stiff). Roll into 1 inch balls; place on ungreased baking sheets and flatten slightly.

    3.Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes or until slight indentation remains when lightly touched. Cool.

    4. If desired, tint frosting. Spread frosting on bottom of half the cookies. Top with remaining cookies. Makes 4 dozen.
