CHICKEN IN A BASKET

  • 1/2 cup Onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Butter or margarine
  • 1/2 pound Velveeta cheese
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 4 cups Chicken, cubed, cooked
  • 2 (10oz) packages Frozen Broccoli or Spinach, thawed
  • 1 (8oz) package Crescent Rolls
  • 1 tablespoon Butter, melted
  • 1. Saute onions in butter. Add cheese, mayo and milk. Heat over low heat until cheese is melted. Add chicken and broccoli; mix well.

    2. Pour into a greased 11-3/4 x 7-1/2 inch baking dish. Cut cresent rolls into strips. Cover chicken with a lattice design. Brush with melted butter.

    3. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 35 minutes or until golden brown.

    Serves 4
