CROCK-POT BAKED APPLES

  • 6-8 Apples, cored
  • 2 tablespoons Raisins
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • Combine raisins, spices and butter together. Place apples in slow cooker; place top layer between apples on bottom layer. Fill cavities with spice mixture. Mix together and pour water and lemon juice over apples. Cover and bake on low 4 to 6 hours. To serve spoon juice from slow cooker over each apple with a scoop of ice cream or frozen whipped cream.

    Serves 6 to 8.
