CROCK-POT BAKED APPLES
Combine raisins, spices and butter together. Place apples in slow cooker; place top layer between apples on bottom layer. Fill cavities with spice mixture. Mix together and pour water and lemon juice over apples. Cover and bake on low 4 to 6 hours. To serve spoon juice from slow cooker over each apple with a scoop of ice cream or frozen whipped cream.
Serves 6 to 8.
