Cookies

M&M COOKIES

  • 3/4 cup Butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 1/3 cups Packed Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup M&M's *
  • 1/2 cup Nuts, chopped
  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly grease cookie sheets.

    2. Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy; blend in eggs and vanilla.

    3. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually add to butter mixture; mix well. Stir in candies and nuts.

    4. Drop dough by heaping tbls onto greased cookie sheets about 3 inches apart. Press 3-4 additional candies into each cookie, if desired.

    5. Bake for 10-12 mins or until lightly browned. Cool on cookie sheet about 3 mins; remove cookies to wire rack to cool thoroughly. Makes 2 dz.

    * I like to use mini M&M's instead
