PECAN PRALINE CHEESECAKE

  • 1 1/4 cups Graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Butter,melted
  • 3 - 8 ounce Cream cheese
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup Evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 cup Pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup Corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup Cornstarch
  • 4 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • In mixing bowl,combine crackers, butter, sugar, and nuts. Press mixture over bottom and up sides of 9 inch springform pan. Bake in oven 10 minutes.

    Beat cream cheese, brown sugar, evap milk, flour, and vanilla. Add eggs, beat 'til blended. Pour into baked crust.Bake in 350°oven 50 to 55 minutes. Cool in pan, loosen sides.

    In saucepan, combine corn syrup, cornstarch, and brown sugar. Cook 'til thick and bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. spoon over slices.
