PECAN PRALINES

  • 1 pound Brown sugar
  • 1 cup Whipping Cream
  • 1 stick Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 1/2 - 2 cups Pecan halves
  • Boil sugar, cream and butter to soft-ball stage or 234 degrees on a candy thermometer. Remove from fire and add vanilla. Beat until thick. Add pecans. Spoon out onto marble slab.
