Cakes and Frostings

PEACH CAKE

  • 1 box Butter Cake Mix
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 3/4 cup Oil
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 can Peach pie filling
  • 8 oz packagae Cream cheese
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 8 oz. Cool whip
  • pinch Salt
  • 1 stick Margarine
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • Mix first five ingredients and beat 2 minutes. Pour in 3, 9 inch greased and floured cake pans. Bake at 325° for 35 minutes or until done. Cool layers and then put a small amount of peach pie filling between layers, saving the remainder on to go on top of the icing. Mix remaining ingredients for icing and put between layers, on sides and top. Put pie filling on top.
