MINI SAUSAGE-CHEESE BALLS

  • 4 pounds Pork sausage
  • 8 cups Cheese, Sharp cheddar
  • 3 tablespoons Water
  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • Preheat oven to 400°.

In a large bowl, combine sausage with bisquick and cheese. Mix with hands until blended together well. Add water ONLY as necessary to help it stick together and mix better. Roll into 1 inch balls.

Place 1/8 inch apart on baking sheet lined with parchment (can also use foil, but if you do, lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray) and bake for approximately 15 minutes.

Options: use one or more packages of spicy sausage to add some zing. Instead of cheddar cheese, use a shredded mexican blend. Can also use mild sausage and mild cheddar or colby for less spice.

Reheat leftovers in microwave. Great for parties and buffets.
