Breakfast, Cakes and Frostings

MARBLE COCONUT COFFEE CAKE

  • 1/2 cup Coconut
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Nuts, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons Butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 large Eggs
  • 3/4 cup Milk, cold
  • 1/3 cup Semi-sweet chocolate, melted
  • TOPPING: Stir together coconut, 1/4 cup of the milk, nuts and 1 tablespoon of the melted butter, set aside.

    CAKE: Mix all remaining ingredients *except chocolate*, beat on high speed for 1 minute.

    Pour into pan. Spoon chocolate over batter, and lightly stir in with knife to marble.

    Sprinkle on topping.

    Bake for 20-25 minutes at 400°, serve warm.
