CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE

  • 1 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Cocoa
  • 1/4 cup Margarine, melted
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cups Pecans, broken
  • 2 Egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/8 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 15oz can Evaporated milk
  • 1 Pastry shell, deep dish
  • Mix sugar, cocoa and margerine. Stir well and add eggs. Beat with hand mixer for 2 1/2 minutes. Add salt, milk and vanilla. Stir in pecans. Pour into an unbaked pie shell and bake in preheated 350º oven for 35-40 minutes.
