IRISH SCONES

  • 4 Eggs
  • 6 Cups Flour
  • 3 Heaping Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Cup Sugar, granulated
  • 1 Cup Raisins
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 1 Cup Butter or Margerine
  • Preheat oven to 350°. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a large bowl. Add margerine and mix untill texture of fine crumbs.

    Fold in raisins. In a separate bowl, mix eggs and milk together. Add to dry mixture. Make 24 balls and place on floured or parchment lined baking pan. Bake 20 minutes.
