BROCCOLI SOUP

  • 1/2 cups Butter
  • 1/4 cups Flour
  • 1 cups Milk
  • 1 cups Half and Half
  • 2 teaspoons Chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoons Garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons Basil, dried
  • 3 Broccoli florets
  • Saute' onions in butter, add flour stirring until smooth. Cook 1 min.stirring constantly. Gradually add milk, half and half and broth. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thickened Stir in salt, garlic powdered basil, add broccoli; cover and cook over medium heat for 15 min. or until broccoli is tender.
