EGGLESS DEVILS FOOD CAKE (150 YEAR OLD RECIPE)
Cream together butter and sugar, Sift together all dry ingredients twice including cocoa. Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, add vanilla. Pour into two layer Pans Bake at 350° oven about 20 minutes or until done. Frost while warm.
Frosting:
Mix together one box confectionary sugar and four tablespoons cocoa, add Butter and cream till it reaches a spreading consistency, add one teaspoon vanilla spread between layers and Icing Cake.
