MOM'S BATTER ROLLS

  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 cup Margarine
  • 1/2 cup Water, hot
  • 2 packages Yeast
  • 1 Eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3 1/2 cups Flour, Sifted
  • Scald milk, stir in sugar, salt, and margarine. Cool till lukewarm. Put water in bowl and dissolve yeast. Add milk mixture, egg, and 2 cups of the flour. Beat until smooth. Add remaining flour to form soft dough. Cover and let rise 30 minutes or until double in size. Grease muffin pans and roll dough into 3 small balls per each cup of muffin pan. Let rise 30 more minutes. Bake 15 minutes or until brown at 400° oven.
