BREAKFAST GRANOLA

  • 2 cups Oats, old fashioned
  • 1 cup Almonds, sliced
  • 1/3 cup Frozen apple juice, thawed
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon
  • 1 cup Coconut, shredded
  • 1/3 cup Cherries, dehydrated and cut up
  • OR
  • 1/2 cup Raisins, golden
  • Preheat oven to 300° Combine oats and almonds in bowl. Mix in juice concentrate. Add sugar and cinnamon and toss together. Spread out on cookie sheet. Bake for 15-25 minutes, stirring until golden browned. Remove from oven and cool. Add cherries or raisins to granola. Store in air tight container at room temperature

    For large recipe, quadruple. This uses the whole 12 oz. concentrate of apple juice, 8 cups of oats, 8 Tablespoons of brown sugar, 4 Tbsp. of cinnamon, and 3-4 cups of shredded coconut.
