Stuffed Cabbage

  • 1 Cabbage
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • ~ Salt and pepper
  • Place a cabbage in the microwave for 5 minutes.

    Let cool.

    Remove the outter leaves, as many as you need.

    Using the stuffed pepper stuffing, roll the cabage leaves around about 1 cup of stuffung, making sure there are no leaks. Wrap with white thread.

    In a large dutch oven, heat 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil. Place the cabbagerolls in and saute on medium-high heat until they are light brown aall arround.Add 1 cup of water and some caraway seeds (if you like) and let simmer until cabbage is all limp; about 20 minutes.

    Remove rolls from pan, discard threads, keep warm.

    Thicken pan juices with a tsp. cornstarch dissolved in cold water. Adjust with salt and pepper.
