Bolognaise Sauce
In a heavy sauce pan, saute the onion and garlic, add the ground beef and sauteuntil opaque. Add the crushed tomatoes and the tomato paste.
Add the sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper and adjust to taste.
You can also use some red pepper flakes, for a spicier sauce.
Let simmer on low for several hours, stirring often. Oryou can cook the sauce covered with plastic wrap, in the micro wave for 15 minutes. Stir. Cook for 15 minutes longer.
Just before serving slice the basil and add. Serve over spaghetti with plenty of grated parmesan cheese.
