Oatmeal-Cranberry Drops

  • 1/2 portion Basic cookie dough (see recipe)
  • 2 Tablespoons Molasses
  • 1 teaspoon Ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup Quick oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup Chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
  • Have basic dough at room temperature Heat oven to 325° Put dough, molasses, cinnamon and ginger in a medium bowl. Stir to mix well.

    Add cranberries, oats and nuts, stir until blendedDrop slightly rounded tablespoons dough 3" apart on ungreased cookie sheet Bake for 11 -13 minutes until bottoms are light golden. Cool on sheets or wire rack for 2 minutes. Remove from baking sheet to racks to cool completely.

    Stir glaze ingredients (sugarand milk) in a medium bowl until smooth. Drizzle over cookies with a fork.
