Make Believe Cordon Bleu

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 Egg
  • ~ Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 slices Ham
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 1 slice White Bread,soaked and pressed out
  • ~ Cheese, American, Sliced
  • Preheat oven to 350°.

    Make ground meat mixture, devide in two.

    Make a patty with half of the meat, the size of a small iron skillet. Top with ham and enough chese to cover patty. Top with the other half of the meat and press edges together, to seal ham and cheese inside.

    Heat oil in a small iron skillet, carefully addthe meat patty.

    Place skillet inoven and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes.

    To serve, slide on serving plate.

    Serve with potatoes and any kind of salad.
