Omi's Hungarian Potato Dish With Salami

  • ~ Potatos, sliced, raw
  • ~ Eggs, hard-boiled, sliced
  • ~ Salami, sliced
  • ~ Salt and pepper to taste
  • ~ Sour cream
  • Butter the inside of an oven proof callerole dish.

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Cover the bottom of the casserole with potato slices, then a layer of egg, a layer of salami and so on until the dish is fill.

    Each layer of potatoes gets a sprinkling of salt and pepper, and each layer of salami gets covered with sour cream.

    Thelast layer should be sour cream.

    Bake in the oven for 2 hours, or until the potatoes are tender.

    Combines wonderfully with Omi's Hungarian cucumber salad. (seesalads).
