Pesto

  • 2 cups Sweet Basil leaves
  • 2-3 Garlic cloves
  • 1/2 Parmesan cheese
  • ~ Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 Olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1/2 Pine Nuts, pecan or walnuts
  • In a food processor pure garlic with oil.

    Add nuts, process.

    Add basil leaves and chop on pulse.

    Add cheese and processjust until incorporated.

    To serve on pasta pour 2 or 3 Tbsp. of pasta cooking water into a big serving bowl. Add pesto,mix. Stir in pasta and serve with exta Parmesan cheese/
