Oriental Hamburger Casserole (Microwave)

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 medium Onions, chopped
  • 1 can Cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can Cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can Water chestnuts, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Water
  • 1 cup Instant rice
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 1 cup Chow mein noodles
  • MIX GROUND BEEF AND ONION IN 2-QUART CASSEROLE. MICROWAVE ON HIGH, 5-9 MINUTES,STIRRING OFTEN, TIL BROWNED. DRAIN.

    STIR IN REMAINING INGREDIENTS, EXCEPT NOODLES.

    COVER. MICROWAVE ON HIGH UNTIL BUBBLY, 6-8 MINUTES, STIRRING ONCE OR TWICE DURING COOKING TIME.

    SPRINKLE WITH NOODLES. MICROWAVE, UNCOVERED, 1-2 MINUTES TO HEAT NOODLES. SERVES 4.
