Lasagne

  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 Garlic cloves
  • 1 medium Onions, chopped
  • 1 pounds Ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoons Rosemary, dried
  • 2 small cans Tomato paste
  • 3 cups Hot Water
  • 1/2 pounds Lasagne noodles
  • 1/2 pounds Ricotta Cheese
  • 1/2 pounds Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
  • In hot oil, fry garlic and onion until soft, add beef. Cook and stir until crumbly. Mix in salt and pepper, rosemary, tomato paste and hot water. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.

    In shallow baking dish, put thin layer of sauce, half the noodles, ricotta cheese and mozzarella cheese, repeat with half the remaing sauce,noodles, last of the sauce and mozzarella cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Let stand out of oven for 15 minutes before cutting.

    Serves: 6-8
