Double Chocolate Brownies

  • 1/2 cups Crisco
  • 1 cups Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1 cans Chocolate syrup
  • 1 1/4 cups Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cups Walnuts, chopped
  • ~ Quick Frosting
  • Preheat oven to 350°.

    In mixer bowl, blend Crisco and sugar; beat in eggs and vanilla. Blend in chocolate syrup, flour and salt; stir in nuts. Pour into grease9x13 baking pan.

    Bake at 350° fo 30-35 minutes. Cool slightly, about 5 minutes.

    Top with Quick Frosting: Combine 2/3 cup sugar, 3 T. Milk, 2 T Crisco and 1/4 tsp salt. Bring to boiling; boil 30 seconds. Remove from heat; stire in 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces and 1/2 tsp vanilla til melted.

    Cool 10 minutes; spread over brownies.
