Carmel Corn (No Hull)

  • 1-10 oz. Package Vitners Corn Pops
  • 1/2 Pound Butter
  • 1 Cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Corn syrup, clear
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • Melt butter, corn syrup and sugar in 2 quart saucepan on low to medium heat. Stir constantly. Bring to boil, boil for two minutes. Remove from heat. Add soda and vanilla. Syrup will foam.

    Pour syrup over corn pops in LARGE bowl. Mix well to coat. Pour on to Large cookie sheet and bake at 350° for about 25 minutes. Stir every 10 minutes.

    Pour onto waxed paper and break up before cools.
