Mexican - Spanish, Misc Desserts

Cuban Flan

  • 1 cans Sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cans Evaporated milk
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
  • In an 8" x 8" round or square pan, pourin sugar. On stovetop over medium heat,caramelize sugar. Put aside and let cool.

    In mixing bowl, add condensed sweetened milk, evaporated milk, eggs and vanilla.

    On medium speed, mix ingredients until smooth and 'frothy'.

    Pour on to cooled caramelized sugar.

    Place into water bath, put into preheated 350-degree oven and bake for 35-45 minutes until firm or toothpick comes out clean.

    Refrigerate for 2 hours. Flip over onto serving dish.Enjoy!
