Candy

English Toffee

  • 1 Pounds Butter
  • 2 Heaping cups Sugar, White
  • 4 Tablespoons Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla
  • 2 Cups Chocolate Chips, semi sweet
  • 1 Cup Walnuts, crushed fine
  • Cook all ingredients in a HEAVY Gauge saucepan till HARD CRACK 280°. Pour into well greased jelly roll pan or large cookie sheet. Top with chocolate chips. Spread chocolate after it melts. Top with walnuts. Crack when cool. Store in air tight container.
