Beer Batter Fish

  • ~ Vegetable oil
  • 1 pounds Fish fillets
  • 3-4 tablespoons Bisquick
  • 1 Eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/2 cups Beer
  • 1 cups Bisquick
  • Heat oil 1-1" in heavy saucepan or deepfat fryer to 350°.

    Lightly coat fish with 3-4 T. baking mix. Mix 1 cup Bisquick, egg, salt and beer til smooth.

    Dip fish into batter, letting excess drip into bowl.

    Fry fish until golden brown, about2 minutes on each side; drain.

    Makes 3-4 servings.
