Cheese And Macaroni

  • 1 - 8 oz. package Elbow macaroni
  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Flour, all-purpose
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • Dash Pepper
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Onion, grated
  • 2 cups Cheese, grated
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup Buttered crumbs
  • ~ Boiling salted water
  • Cook macaroni in salted boiling water until done. Rinse and drain. Melt butter in flour, salt and pepper. Slowly add and stir in milk; cook and stir until thickened. Add onion and next 3 ingredients.(cheese, dry mustard, & worcestershire sauce) Cook & stir until cheese melts. Pour cheese mixture over macaroni. Toss lightly; turn into a buttered 2-quart casserole pan. Top with crumbs. Bake in ovenat 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden browned.

    Makes 6 servings.
