Marianne's Mixed Green Salad

  • 1/2 cups Almond slices
  • 3 tablespoons Sugar, granulated
  • 2/3 cups Balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cups Olive oil, virgin
  • 1/4 cups Honey, warmed liquid
  • 1/2 teaspoons Celery seed
  • 1 pinches Salt
  • 4 cups Mixed greens
  • 1 small cans Manderin orange segments
  • In frying pan, over low heat, stir almonds and sugar until sugar is melted. Puton paper to cool. Arrange greens on plate. Whisk together all other ingredients. Spread sugared almonds and orange pieces over greens, sprinkle dressing over top.
