Cornbread

  • 1 cups Corn meal
  • 1 cups Flour, all-purpose
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 4 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cups Milk
  • 1/4 cups Shortening
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 small Can drained corn
  • Heat oven to 425°. Grease a square 8x8 pan. Blend all ingredients about 20 sec.Beat for 1min. Pour into pan bake 20minor until golden brown. Serve with warm maple syrup drizzled over it.
