Lasagna

  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Onions, chopped
  • 1 pounds Ground Beef
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoons Basil
  • 1 6oz. can Tomato paste
  • 1 lg. can Hunt's Special Tomato Sauce
  • 2 cans Hot water
  • 1/2 pounds Lasagna noodles
  • 1/2 pounds Ricotta Cheese
  • Heat oil, fry garlic and onion until soft. Add beef. Cook until crumbly. Mix seasonings, tomato sauce, paste and water.Simmer uncovered at least 30 minutes. In baking dish, put thin layer of sauce, half noodles, ricotta cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Repeat with remaining sauce, noodles and mozzarella cheese. Bake in350º oven 30 minutes or until bubbly. May be frozen, thawed and baked.
