Square Meal Hamburgers

  • 1 pounds Hamburger meat
  • 1/4 cups Onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cups Carrots, grated
  • 1/4 cups Ketchup
  • 1 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
  • Biscuit Dough Squares
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 3 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/3 cups Solid shortening
  • 3/4 cups Milk

    • Mix first 7 indgredients and shape into8 patties, set aside.

    Sift dry ingredients, cut in shortening, add milk, stirring with fork until all flour is moist. Knead gently about 20 seconds. Devide dough into 8 equal parts. Roll out each portion to 5 inch. square.

    Place Meat pattyon biscuit dough square, fold edges of dough around meat. Bake in over 400° , 25-35 minutes. Serve hot with salsa, or cheese, whatever you like.
