Vanilla Sauce

  • 1 cups Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • 1/3 cups Water,
  • 1/2 cups Whipping cream, heavy
  • 1 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • Blend sugar and flour, add water, bringto a boil until blended, and smooth, Remove from heat, and cream, vanilla and salt, butter. Stir well. Serve warm.

    Thisis very good over bread pudding.
