Regrind ground beef until you have a smooth paste. Add about 2's of each spice, two eggs and the ground oatmeal. Mix thoroughly by hand ensuring all is well blended. Mixture should be moist but not wet. Bake a small amount in the oven at 325° and when cooked, taste it and adjustthe spices to the rest of the uncooked mixture to your own taste. Once adjustments have been made to your liking, pressmixture as tight as possible in a coffee or juice can. Place can upright in a baking dish with about one inch of water in baking dish. Cover coffee or juice can with aluminum foil and bake at 300° for 1-1/2 to 2 hours, checking it every half hour, and drain the fat off if necessary.
In the meantime combine all the sauce ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Adjust the thickness with regular canned milk to desired consistency.
Remove meat from can when cooked and let cool. Place on barbecue spit and reheat over low heat. This represents the spit in restaurants. Cut thin slices from meat as they heat and quickly fry beforestuffing in fresh pita bread. Cover with sauce and add your favorite topping ofdiced onions and/or diced tomatoes. Andenjoy.
