Speedy Salsa Chicken

  • 1 16 oz Jar Salsa
  • 4 to 6 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard, prepared

    • Spray a glass baking dish with cooking spray, place chicken breasts in dish. Combine Salsa, mild, medium or hot, your preference, with mustard and brown sugar,pour over top of chicken. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes(it really will be done, moist and tender). This is simple fast and very good, usually served over rice but can function as an entree alone. Usually will remove chicken breasts immediately upon coming out of the oven and thicken sauce with a tablespoon cornstarch mixed with about 1/8 cup water. Pork chops work as well with this recipe.
