Savoury Egg Pie

  • ~ Onions
  • ~ Tomatos
  • ~ Salt and pepper to taste
  • ~ Eggs
  • Line a pie plate with short crust pastry.

    Cover with finely cut onion, then sliced tomato, and season.

    On this carefully break the required number of eggs and cover with pastry.

    Glaze, bake in a hot oven for 10 minutes, the place on a lower shelf with a reduced heat for a further 20 minutes.
