Raspberry Slice

  • 1/4 pound Butter
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups SR flour
  • ~ Raspberry jam
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Coconut
  • 1 Egg
  • Cream well together butter and sugar, add a well beaten egg, then gradually stir in SR flour.

    Spread in flat well greased tin.

    Spread with raspberry jam and cover with the following mixture; 1/2 cup sugar, 1 cup coconut and 1 egg, all beaten well together.

    Bake in moderate oven for about 45 minutes.
