Shortbread Creams
Cream butter (or lard) and sugar, add beaten egg with milk and stir into wholemeal SR flour, mix with salt and orange rind.
Put teaspoonfuls on a tray and bakeuntil brown and crisp.
When cold put together with this filling: - cream icing sugar and butter and orange juice.
