Quondong Chutney

  • 2 pounds Quondongs
  • 2 pounds Apples
  • 2 pounds Onions
  • 1 pound Raisins
  • 6 ounces Salt
  • 1 pound Sugar
  • 15 Cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Mixed Spice
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ~ Vinegar
  • Wash and stone quondongs.

    Mince fruit and put into a stew pan, add salt, sugar,cloves, mixed spice, cayenne pepper andcinnamon.

    Cover with vinegar and simmerfor 3 hours
