Pepper Steak

  • 1 pounds Beef chuck
  • 1/4 cup Cooking oil
  • 1 clove Garlic, finely minced
  • 1 dessertspoon Soy sauce
  • 1 dessertspoon Salt
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1 cup Green peppers, chopped
  • 1 cup Onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Celery, chopped
  • 1 dessertspoon Cornflour
  • 2 Tomatos
  • 1 cups Water
  • Cut the beef into very thin strips, andbrown in the hot oil.

    Add garlic, soy sauce, salt and water, cook for 45 minutes.

    Add vegetables and cook for 10 minutes.

    Stir in the corn flour, which has been blended with the cup of water.

    Cut thetomato in to 1/8's and add them to the mixture.

    Cook for 5 minutes.

    Serve steakover hot fluffy rice.

    Serves 4.
