Tuna Loaf

  • 3 teaspoons Gelatine
  • 1 7 ounce tin Tuna
  • 1/2 cup Water, hot
  • 2 Egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Vinegar
  • Slightly beat yolks, add salt, mustard,dash of cayenne, mix well and add butter, milk and vinegar.

    Cook in a double boiler, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.

    Dissolve gelatine in hot water.

    Add carefully to the mixture.

    Flake the fish, add and pour into a mould. (If setting in a ice box or refrigeratoruse less gelatine.
