Cakes and Frostings

Small Cakes

  • 8 ounces SR flour
  • 4 ounces Currants
  • 1 ounces Mixed peel
  • 4 ounces Sugar
  • 2 ounces Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Bicarb soda
  • 1 cup Milk
  • Sift flour, add currants (or any fruit desired), sliced peel and sugar.

    Beat butter and add.

    Stir bicarb soda into milkand add to above mixture and stir quickly.

    Bake in paper patties for 15 minutes
