Country Fried Steak

  • 2 pounds Ground beef
  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 cups Oil
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup Flour
  • 4 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon Pepper
  • Shape meat into patties.

    Mix flour, salt & pepper and coat patties with this mixture just like fried chicken.

    Fry in oil until brown.

    GRAVY: Bring water & chicken broth to a boil.

    Add flour, salt & pepper and blend until thickened.
