Loobia

  • 1 pound Stew beef
  • 2 tablespoons Salt
  • 2 quarts Water
  • 5 Garlic cloves, mashed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 3 tablespoons Coriander (coozbra)
  • 2 pounds Green beans, cut
  • 1 can Tomato paste
  • 1 package Rice
  • 1 package Arabic bread
  • Put meat, salt, & water into a pot.

    Boil until meat is done.

    Mash garlic into salt and fry with butter.

    Add to meat.

    Fry green beans in butter and garlic mixture.

    Add green beans to stew.

    Add tomato paste to stew.

    Cook until green beans are tender (approximately.1 hour).

    Serve over rice with Arabic bread.
